To set up an auto-reply in Yahoo Mail, you must use the Vacation Response feature, which takes just three core steps to complete. 1. Open More Settings Log into your account on Yahoo Mail. Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner. Select More Settings at the bottom of the menu. 2. Enable Vacation Response Click Vacation response from the left-hand menu.
Toggle the Turn on vacation response switch to active (it will turn blue).
Choose your precise Start and End dates for the automatic replies. 3. Save Your Message Type your out-of-office text into the Message box. Customize formatting using the provided toolbar if desired. Click Save at the bottom to officially activate it.
